In partership with Cornell Infrastructure Properties & Planning, SAIF is partially funding the renovation of the plaza in front of the Schwattz Center in Collegetown. This project involves demolition of the existing wall, adding stamped concrete, benches, tables, and landscape planters. The money allocated by SAIF ensures that student concerns regarding the design and implementation of this project will be addressed. Construction is expected to begin Summer 2017 at the earliest.

 

The plaza is being designed by Trowbridge Wolf Michaels Landscape Architecture, which is based out of Ithaca, NY. Fall 2016 they are hosting public forums to obtain student and community design input. Check out our Facebook page for more details.
